Our story begins with a passionate lady whom with her French heritage and nationality returned to France to complete an intensive course in baking and work in a boulangerie. Armed with this new knowledge and her passion for exceptional quality fare, she returned to Brisbane to begin the year and a half process of development regarding every facet of the business.
Chouquette is very much about authenticity – whether it be in the recipes used, the methods of production, the use of the French language for the names of the products and the interaction between staff and customers. Chouquette’s aim is to offer Brisbane something of traditional, authentic and interesting. From time to time, a seasonal menu would be offered in addition to our regular products.
